Week 18

Baby is now the size of a cucumber
Welcome to Week 18. For many parents, this is one of the most exciting weeks of pregnancy. Many mothers begin feeling regular baby movements around this time, turning pregnancy from something they see on a scan into something they can physically experience every day. Your baby is becoming stronger, more active, and more aware of their surroundings. You may also be approaching your anatomy scan — one of the most detailed and exciting ultrasounds of pregnancy.
