Week 7
Trimester 1Days 6+0 to 6+6
Baby is now the size of a blueberry
Week 7 is a week of remarkable growth and development. Although your baby is still tiny, they are becoming more recognizably human every day. The brain is growing rapidly, facial features are becoming clearer, and the foundations for hands and feet are developing. For many mothers, this is also one of the most challenging weeks of the first trimester. Nausea, fatigue, food aversions, and emotional ups and downs often become more intense.
