Baby is now the size of a romaine lettuce

Welcome to Week 36. This is a major milestone because your baby is now considered early term. While a few more weeks of growth are still ideal, your baby is getting very close to being fully ready for life outside the womb. For many parents, Week 36 feels surreal — the nursery may be ready, hospital bags may be packed, and every twinge can make you wonder if labor is about to begin.
