Week 37
Trimester 3Days 36+0 to 36+6
Baby is now the size of a Swiss chard
Welcome to Week 37. This is a huge milestone because your baby is now officially considered term. That does not mean labor will necessarily happen this week, but it does mean your baby has reached an important point in development. For many parents, this week feels like a strange combination of waiting, excitement, anticipation, and impatience. Your baby is continuing to gain weight, strengthen their body, and prepare for life outside the womb.
