Baby is now the size of a watermelon

Welcome to Week 40. You have reached your due week. Whether labor begins today, tomorrow, or a little later, your pregnancy is nearing its conclusion and your baby will soon be in your arms. A due date is only an estimate — only a small percentage of babies are actually born on their exact due date. Your baby is fully developed and ready for life outside the womb. Now it is simply a matter of timing.
