Baby is now the size of a cherry

Welcome to Week 9. This is a major milestone because your baby is now nearing the end of the embryonic stage. So much of the basic body structure has already formed, and from here your baby will continue growing, refining, and developing those structures. For many mothers, first trimester symptoms are still going strong. If you're feeling tired, nauseous, emotional, or simply unlike yourself, know that this is an extremely common part of early pregnancy.

Hormonal changes can affect digestion and cause bloating long before a baby bump appears.

Can my baby hear me yet?
